Source request

It's been a while but I have another request for sources from your archives. Anything you can find on Cyclone Orson would be great. If you don't still have my email address, I'll send you another email with the request. Thanks in advance, Cyclonebiskit (talk) 04:01, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note

Hey, not sure if you noticed, but I sent you an e-mail a few weeks ago. If you're not too busy, could you check that out? Thanks, –Juliancolton | Talk 05:33, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work!

What a Brilliant Idea Barnstar
I think User:Cool3/RfA Hypothetical 1 is a brilliant piece of work and a great way to ask crat candidates for their reasoning without having to use already decided RFAs as an example. So good job on creating that page, I hope you will create another one or two of those situations as they can really help the rest of us when evaluating crat candidates. What do you think about expanding it? It seems quite short for a FRS YellowMonkey (cricket photo poll!) paid editing=POV 06:59, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I used all of the sources that I know of to write it initially, and I think it covers everything it should. The only real way to expand would be to rely on Woodruff's memoirs for more information on his personal life and such. Cool3 (talk) 15:48, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning from Megan Fox edit/message

Now, you did read the part where they claimed what they felt was needed to merit inclusion into the article, which I just posted at at the Edit Warring message board, right? If not, can you please go take alook at my response to Kevin's assertations? Thanks Whippletheduck (talk) 04:12, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'd also like to add something else that user KEVIN said....

[quote]If you can present a reliably sourced report (i.e. mainstream media reports) then it could stay, so long as it passes the hurdle of undue weight, otherwise it must be left out. Kevin (talk) 06:33, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[/quote] I've accomplished both- the original article used what were probably not the best, actually, no they were NOT up to Wikipedia verification standards. So I went out and I found sources from ABCNEWS and from MSN, both of which meet the verification standards. And as I mentioned, I dropped it from an entire paragraph to an entire sentence. The fact that Kevin named that the standard to be met, and now is moving away from that is rather hypocritical on his part, don't you think? Whippletheduck (talk) 04:21, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
