Veerasamy (Tamil: வீராசாமி) is a low-budget Tamil film released in 2007. It failed to make a big impact at the Kollywood box office. The film was fully made by veteran actor and producer T. Rajendar. Mumtaj and Meghana Naidu starred in the movie along side him.[1]

Synopsis

The movie is basically a political story with a tinge of love and more action. In the movie, is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Unlike common corrupt politicians, he is very straight forward. The police and the government employees are made to work properly under the control of T. Rajendar.

Plot

Basically the notion of the story is that if any problem occurs to the public, T. Rajendar is there to help them. Mumtaj, a maid in the house falls in love with the T. Rajendar and tries to marry him. Meanwhile there is another character in the story, Sheela, sister. He generally opposes his sister's love for her childhood lover.

The movie is well known for its illogical scenes. For instance, there is a scene where Sheela speaks in support , saying that she will not sacrifice her brother for the sake of her lover. In the immediate next scene however, she threatens to elope with her lover if T. Rajendar does not consent to their marriage.
