Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia
Mohammadreza Sharifinia (Persian: محمدرضا شریفینیا, born 1955) is an Iranian actor, born in Tehran. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Tehran, and was the husband of actress Azita Hajian ,and his daughters Mehraveh Sharifinia and Melika Sharifinia are actresses. He began his film acting career with Avinar (1991, S. Asadi), and has worked in many films as assistant director, cinematographer, casting director, and has acted in minor or major roles.
Political views
Sharifinia is one of the supporters of the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and attended his inaugural ceremony on 3rd of August 2009. His Facebook profile was removed after many people protested his actions by leaving negative comments on his wall and removing him as a friend.
His fans after presidential inauguration
He used to have about 3000 fans and friends in his facebook page, however after his attendance in Ahmadinejad's inauguration in August 2009, number of his friends and fans dropped dramatically. Those who used to love him one day now hate him. People have created a Facebook page called "I hate Mohammadreza Sharifinia" just hours after inauguration, which became popular very soon.[1]
