Power Industry is an industry[1] which related to Generation[2], Transmission[1] and Distribution[3] of Electrical Energy. Power Industry has many areas. All Power Plants, Large or Small are Generation units. Small Plants are called Distributed Generations or disperse Generations.

Many of these small generations uses renewable energies[4] such as Wind, Solar, Tidal, Wave, Geothermal. Iran's power industry has been Developed by some large groups such as MONA-Consultants, Mapna and others. As a target renewable energies has been considered in recent years in Iran. Some private companies such as MONA-Consultants has renewable energies Department. Iran's Power Industry has been developed recent years but it has many problems.

Loss of distribution systems is very high. Due to Power in Iran is very cheap so consumption is not standard and acceptable. Power Industry is the most important part of the energy systems. Advanced technologies such as FACTS, Renewable Technologies and... caused the power system[5] very complicated. Power system is a complex and large scale system which is one part of the Power Industry.
