Gidu Bandar also known as Hussainabad is a town of Hyderabad city in Sindh, Pakistan near the Indus River.[1] Hussainabad is the newer name of the town. Asia's well known mental hospital is also here which is called Giddu Bandar.

The Sindhi people are a majority in the town and the Sindhi language is the dominant language. Hussainabad's most prominent place is Mehran Park which is ideal place for the Hyderabad's citizens to spend their free time and enjoy the fresh air near the Indus River (Sindhu Darya).
