Alex Auld (born 7 January, 1981 in Cold Lake, Alberta but raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario) is a goaltender for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.

He was selected in the 2nd Round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers. While still playing junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League, Auld was sent to Vancouver in exchange for a pair of draft choices.

He has played several seasons for the Canucks' American Hockey League affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, and is currently the number one goaltender for the Canucks. Larger than the average goaltender, his size allows him to avoid relying too much on reflexes, making his trademark an unusually calm style for a young goaltender.
