"So Young"
Song
B-side"Forgiven Not Forgotten, Haste To The Wedding"

"So Young" is a song by the Irish folk rock band The Corrs from their album Talk On Corners, written by Sharon Corr. It is a song about a young couple, glorifying their strength, confidence and love feelings, often associated with this stage of life. The song, released as a single, reached number 29 on the Republic of Ireland pop music charts and number 6 in the United Kingdom. The band initially had to fight with their label to include the song on the album, a decision vindicated by its popularity.

The video

The Corrs in the music video for "So Young"

This video was shot in Chicago as the Corrs were on tour in the US at that time (21 October 1998). Lots of shooting took place in and around the Flamingo Building. The structure that gives the building its name is 53 feet high and was designed by Alexander Calder in 1974. The Corrs are standing on the top of the Flamingo Building throwing paper planes into the windy air (Chicago isn't called the "windy city" for nothing).

The main impression from this video is the color gray- the band didn't bring any clothes with them but took over a whole floor at Barney's (a well-known clothing store with shops all over the U.S.), and tried everything on under the eyes of the not too thrilled staff. Sharon finally got to wear a men's jumper that was too big for Jim.

Director Jacobs has hinted at a funny story which involves a topless women in an office in a nearby building, but sadly, he refuses to give the details...
