Pawan Kalyan (born as Konidela Kalyan) on 2 September 1971 is a Telugu cinema actor. Pawan Kalyan's notable movies include Tholi Prema (1998), Thammudu (1999), Badri (2000) and Khushi (2001). He is the younger brother of Telugu actor and politician - Chiranjeevi and actor/producer Nagendra Babu.

Career

Directing career

He made his first official directorial debut with Akkada Ammayi Ekkada Abbayi.

Politics

Pawan Kalyan is involved in the State politics of Andhra Pradesh. He is campaigning for the Praja Rajyam Party, which is led by his own brother Chiranjeevi. He was appointed as the president of Yuva Rajyam, the youth wing of Praja Rajyam.

Personal life

Pawan Kalyan was first married to Nandini, whom he divorced on 13 August 2008 [1]. On 28 January 2009 married Renu Desai. Desai was the female lead in his films Badri and Johnny. The couple have a son.


He is Black Belt 1st Dan (Shodan) in Budo Kan Karate. He has Trained under Fight Master Hussain Malaysian.
