Notes

  • Every World Champion from 1987 is on this list with the exception of Graeme Dott, who was World Champion in 2006.
  • Jimmy White is the player with the most centuries who has yet to win a world title, although he has reached 6 finals.
  • Ronnie O'Sullivan and Ding Junhui both took 5 seasons to reach 100 centuries, which is the shortest period of time in which this has occurred. Willie Thorne took 19 seasons to score his 100th century, the longest such period.
  • Anthony Hamilton is the highest player on the list never to have won a ranking title.
  • Ken Doherty is the highest player on the list, who have not made a maximum break.
