Does Fatherhood count as a Nicktoon? It may be animted, but has pretty much been exclusive to Nick@Nite. --Geopgeop 10:04, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes...Nicktoon means "animated cartoon on the Nickelodeon TV channel. Therefore, if it's on Nickelodeon and it's animated, it's a Nicktoon.

As stated above, their's no "fake" Nicktoons. The only difference is that the so-called "fake" Nicktoons are property of WB and not Nick.

Controversy

This entry BADLY needs a controversy section. The meddling of Nickelodeon executives resulted in the censorship, declining quality, and/or premature cancellation of at least three different Nicktoons. Ren and Stimpy, The Angry Beavers, and Invader Zim were all negatively affected by interference from Nickelodeon executives, and documented proof of this abuse exists for all three series. --M.Neko 09:17, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is a badly needed addition. Censorship has badly hurt Nicktoons, and Nickelodeon as a network. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.74.229.61 (talk) 03:49, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Meaty

Mr. Meaty may not be animated but so is Action Leauge Now! and it aired on Nicktoons TV so please do not remove it.

Puppetry (Mr. Meaty) and stop-motion (Action League NOW!) are both consitered forms of animation. --Wack'd About Wiki 00:46, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Fairly OddParents Movie

Why remove mention of the movie? The movie has not yet been released, but planned. Marcus2 21:41, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I havn't herd anything about it!Themasterofwiki 19:38, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop editing something!

Hey guys, please stop editing the mr. meaty dates. The series has not been cancelled yet and therefore should be left alone. Thanks! Stitchon 02:49, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Yo, I heard that Star Wars: The Clone Wars on 3-D is going to aired at Nick in 2008 and in no other channel, should it be a Upcoming Nicktoon? Olsonman 22:15, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is a nicktoon and what is not?

It seems there are many different opinions on that matter, I'd say a Nicktoon is any animated series with Nickelodeon and/or Nicktoons Network involved in its production. That's to say: any animated series with a Nickelodeon Logo or a "Nicktoons Network Original" Label after the end credits. I suggest the list of Nicktoons shoud be changed to this:

Original Nicktoons:

1. Doug

2. Rugrats

3. The Ren & Stimpy Show

4. Rocko's Modern Life

5. AAAHH!!! Real Monsters

6. KaBLaM!

7. Hey Arnold!

8. The Angry Beavers

9. Oh Yeah! Cartoons

10. CatDog

11. The Wild Thornberrys

12. SpongeBob SquarePants

13. Rocket Power

14. Pelswick (co-produced with CBC)

15. As Told by Ginger

16. The Fairly OddParents

17. Invader ZIM

18. Action League NOW!: The Series

19. ChalkZone

20. The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius

21. Yakkity Yak (co-produced with Nickelodeon Australia and Teletoon)

22. All Grown Up!

23. My Life as a Teenage Robot

24. Danny Phantom

25. Avatar: The Last Airbender

26. Catscratch

27. The X's

28. Mr. Meaty (co-produced with CBC)

29. Wayside (co-produced with Teletoon)

30. El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera

31. Tak and the Power of Juju

32. Back at the Barnyard

Upcoming Nicktoons:

33. Random! Cartoons

34. The Mighty B!

35. Making Fiends

36. Penguins! (co-produced with Dreamworks Animation)

37. Kung-Fu Panda (co-produced with Dreamworks Animation)

38. Akihabara@Deep (co-produced with Nickelodeon Japan)

Nicktoons Network Original Series:

1. The Nicktoons Film Festival

2. Skyland (co-produced with Teletoon, France 2, CiTV and ABC Kids)

3. Kappa Mikey

4. Shuriken School (co-produced with Jetix Europe)

5. Thugaboo

6. Edgar and Ellen (co-produced with YTV)

7. The Secret Show (co-produced with BBC)

And that's it. I didn't include shows like Martin Mistery or Ricky Sprocket because they're not really co-productions, they're just acquisitions. And I didn't include Diggs Tailwagger because we never knew if the series was greenlighted (they were only greenlighted to make a pilot, not a series).

Nevermind. (How can I delete this?

History Section

This article really needs a history section! It lacks information on history. --64.107.78.194 (talk) 20:54, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pelswick

Pelswick is in fact a Nicktoon. Unfortunately, due to the protection, I cannot fix the mistake. Please, someone who CAN fix it...do so. Pelswick used to be listed as the 14th Nicktoon but someone must have taken it down. It still appears in the template though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.89.142.221 (talk) 03:37, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yakkity Yak

Was Yakkity Yak a nicktoon? It isn't mentioned as one but aired on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons Network. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.53.183.19 (talk) 17:52, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation Page

Seeing as the "Nicktoons Network" has been renamed as just "Nicktoons" I think we need a disambiguation page to differentiate the two pages. 72.241.19.67 (talk) 22:11, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
