Cedar Park High School (CPHS) is a high school in Cedar Park, Texas; it was established in 1998 to serve as the second high school in the Leander Independent School District. The school was built due to the rapid growth in the area, and it is proud of its high achievement in academic and extracurricular activities[1][2].

The school's mascot is the Timberwolf, and the colors of CPHS are forest green and black with silver as an accent. Cedar Park High School competes in UIL district 16-5A (formerly 14-5A), and its main sports rival is nearby Leander High School. Traditionally, at the end of the football season, these two would play at Bible Stadium in a game known as The Crosstown Showdown. In 2009 Bible Stadium was demolished due to safety concerns over the structure's age. A new location for The Crosstown Showdown has yet to be established. The other teams in 16-5A include Westwood High School, Georgetown High School, Round Rock High School, Stony Point High School, and McNeil High School. The other high school in the school district, Vista Ridge, is moving up to 5A at the start of the 2008-2009 school year, replacing Pflugerville High School and forming the new 16-5A district. CPHS is also known for the performance of its drill team, the Celebrities, its choir[2], as well as the highly honored Timberwolf Band[1].
