Huevos Rancheros are a Canadian indie rock band, who perform an instrumental (i.e. non-vocal) blend of rockabilly, surf and punk music. Based in Calgary, Alberta, the band currently consists of guitarist Brent Cooper, bassist Tommy Kennedy (who replaced founding bassist Graham Evans) and drummer Richie Ranchero. Cooper is currently a member of The Ramblin' Ambassadors, a four-piece instrumental band. They are not to be confused with a band of similar name, different attitude, Juevos Rancheros ("JR") of the United States. JR was founded in Maryland, and has been building momentum on the Indie Rock scene since the release of their first LP "Influences Lie" in 2009.
