Gumburanjon

Gumbok Rangan is a stand alone lofty rocky precipice located in Kurgiakh Valley of Zanskar, India in Lakong region. It is venerated and considered to be holy by the local inhabitants mostly practicing Tibetan buddhism. Gumbok Rangan can be seen from as far as 10 miles from the village of Kurgiakh and it lies along the Darcha- Padum Trek route. It is estimated to be around 18000 ft high.
