Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Cool3! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 675 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Howard Packett - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Emergency desysop

You have been temporarily desysopped because this account has been certified by checkusers as a confirmed sockpuppet of a banned user. The desysop was done under emergency procedures and was in turn certified by Arbitrators Rlevse, Mailer diablo and SirFozzie. You should contact ArbCom by email to appeal this.

For the Arbitration Committee,  Roger Davies talk 23:17, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Indefinitely blocked

You have been indefinitely blocked as a sockpuppet account of a banned user, Thekohser, certified by two checkusers.  Roger Davies talk 23:20, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Very disappointing. –Juliancolton | Talk 23:54, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Who, arbcom or the user? Majorly talk 00:02, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
sigh. That's all I can say. JamieS93 00:12, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Pathetic. Is there a single disruptive edit in this account's entire history? My opinion of Arbcom has never been that high, but at least I thought they were trying to do the right thing, just not in a way I always agreed with. This is just petty and vindictive posturing. Roger, I may not always have agreed with you but I thought better of you than this. – iridescent 01:02, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
To be fair, I think Roger is (just) the messenger and may or may not agree with it. Still, yeah, it's all about ego rather than productivity. Arbcom are not heros saving the day here. Majorly talk 01:05, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
