Tawhid Boys School is located in Stamford Hill, in the London Borough of Hackney. It is the first Islamic boys school in the Stoke Newington area. The school was founded in June 2000 (Rabi-al Awwal 1421). Hadhrat Moulana Sheikh Yusuf Motala, head and founder of Daru-uloom, Bury, Lancashire, inaugurated the school in September 2000.

The School was established with the aim of providing Islamic and academic education within the bounds of Sharia law. In the first school term there were 50 children and 4 full time teachers. By 2006, there were 120 boys between the ages of 7 and 12, with 6 teachers. There is also a growing waiting list of 100 boys that cannot be accommodated within the existing facilities. The school is managed by the Shura, the management committee.

The school has good reputation, and the amount of student has increased over the years due to high quality of teaching. (i promise you this is bullshit, no child should be allowed to become to this school without the presence of a adult because the teachers WILL get upto mischeif!!!!) The school has started healthy packed lunch which is a good step of protecting student from eating junk food and icreasing their well being.

The total student in Tawhid now is 130 between the ages of 10 and 15, with 13.

The term tawhid in the name refers to the Islamic concept of monotheism.
