FM-2030 Returns?
"Sadly he missed his goal by 30 years."...or has he? By having himself stored in a cryogenic state hasn't he gained the possibility of returning in 2030?
- Putting aside the fact that it's doubtful that people who were preversed using current cryonic technology will ever be revived, I don't think it would proper to add such an argument in an encyclopedic article. --Loremaster 20:56, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- While your claim is original research, it's true that it wouldn't be proper to add something like that to wikipedia. Wikipedia should be objective: a wikipedia page shouldn't be able to be "sad"... Ran4 (talk) 02:16, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
POV?
"FM-2030's optimism about the potential for human development has not remained as defensible, either." The end of this article seems to veer a bit far from NPOV. I'd be grateful if the author might tweak that a little bit (don't feel qualified to do that myself just now). Also, might the "upwing" political position deserve its own article? --Ithaqua 08:36, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Adopted name citation is in NPR link
The adopted name part can be heard in the NPR link at the bottom . I'm not sure how to cite that. --Rajah 05:04, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- Simply follow the Wikipedia:Citing sources guidelines. --Loremaster 20:57, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Personal Life/Family
Is it possible to get some background information on him? I was checking some sites and they have some bio info. I think it would help give insight into who it was. He apparently was an extensive traveler beyond his childhood. Anywya, I think the article is too focused on his work and not enough on who he was as an individual.--DannyBoy7783 15:19, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- I still think that! :) --DannyBoy7783 (talk) 03:23, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
