The Frikipedia,also called the "free extremely serious Encyclopedia" or "Free Useless" is a parody of the wikipedia in Spanish , although the Frikipedia argues the the opposite is true. Currently over 8,000 articles. The Frikipedia is under license GFLD.Early in 2006 the head of the frikipedia decided to close the site after a complaint by the SGAE.THe Frikipedia is open and running again from October 20 of 2007.In the front page says misspelling Vienbenido a la frikipedia ahora con 50% menos de errores ortograficos (Welkome to Frikipedia Now with 50% Less Zpelling errors).

Vandalism
Due to the openness of the Frikipedia (and his fixation with Chuck Norris), itself suffered vandalism Frikipedia like any other wiki-based site.For example, they used laundered pages ,including advertising other sites or even right-wing propaganda. Although the policies followed by Frikipedia are fairly permissive , its managers remove any item that does not comply with the requirements of users and block vandals.This also brought the discontent of some users.
Close and campaign in support of Frikipedia
In early 2006 the General Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE) sued the responsible Frikipedia Vicente Herrera for abusive and insulting asking between 9,000 and 12,000 euros in compensation. On Febraury 3 of 2006 closed the Frikipedia its website for this reason. Pedro Farré , director of institutional relations of SGAE said it would withdraw the request if you remove such content from the Internet, retracts and apologizes. Following the closure of the site was launched a campaign in support of The Frikipedia Loretahur. In addition, the head of the Frikipedia opened a page where small donations collected two and five dollars through the payments system Paypal with the entention to defray travel costs , lawyers and a hypothetical sentence.
After an agreement with the SGAE . Frikipedia reopened its site on February 26 without mentioning the entity in its pages.After the annoyance of many internet users to this measure again closed within a few hours .However, in June 2006 it reopened in test mode and not utter the SGAE was with salvaged items, including the SGAE.
On November 8th of 2007the National Court in Madrid confirmed the ruling that condemns its editor Vincent Herrera to pay 600 euros in compensation to the manager and his manager Peter Farre and court costs.
