Meetup details
- Date: Saturday, April 10th
- Time: San Francisco Ferry departs 10:35 p.m. and returns leaving 3:20 p.m.
- if you want a $7.00 guided 12:30-1:50 p.m. tour of the immigration museum, make reservations (see below)
- cafe closes at 4 p.m.; park offices close at sunset; camping facilities available overnight
- Location: Angel Island

- Bikes optional, and bike space on the ferry is first-come, first-served
- Bikes and segways are available for rental on the island, but the island is 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2)

- United States Immigration Station museum Room 105 (North Garrison, China Cove)
- If you prefer the $7 hour and 20 minute guided tour, please reserve in advance (415-435-3392 or email) and arrive early for the 12:30 p.m. tour
- Scope out possibilities for a sponsor party or benefit concert
- East Garrison: 20 tables, BBQ, 200-1000 people (Fort McDowell, facing Berkeley)
- Facing the Foundation office and the SF skyline Southeast is the abandoned Nike missile site above Point Blunt Light
- Mt. Livermore (center of island)
- Rock quarry
- Alcatraz Gardens at Perl's Beach (Southwest, facing San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge)
- Camp Reynolds (West Garrison, facing Sausalito and the Golden Gate Bridge)
- military museum and restored officers' barracks

- picnic areas by Visitor Center, facing Tiburon (Ayala Cove, Northwest docks)
- Platform Site: 24 tables, BBQ, 100-150 people
- Draw Site: 15 tables, BBQ, 35-100 people

- Meet back at Ayala Cove picnic area at 2:10 p.m.
- Proofread materials for Maker Faire (for what hasn't already been proofread online)
- Sneak Wikipedia/Wikimedia logos in front of the cove-cam and take screenshots
- Bike and/or walk around at dusk and observe the Bay skyline
- Camp overnight if you miss the last ferry last Ferry back to San Francisco is 3:50 p.m.
