Teo Bee Yen (born 1950 in Fujian, China) is a photographer in Singapore. He started photography as a hobby in 1994.

In 1998, Teo was voted one of the top 10 photographers in the world (colour print section) by the Photographic Society of America (PSA). Between 1999 and 2002, he was ranked among the top three positions and he eventually achieved the PSA five-star award in 2002.

Exhibitions

Since 2001, Teo has held four solo exhibitions:

  • Affections of the Jiuzhai Valley (2001, Singapore)
  • Magical Empress of Sichuan Mountain (2002, Penang)
  • People of Mount Daliang (2004, Fujian)
  • The Dead Poplar Diversifolia and Going into Ejina (2004, Kuala Lumpur)
