Hi. I was just wondering why you removed the interwiki link here? From your userpage, I'll infer that you know way more than I do (in these and most matters!), but I had previously assumed that the default action was to link an interwiki article regardless of its quality-at-the-moment. (My not being able to read/translate the French article is possibly contributing to my confusion ;)

I'm just curious, and looking to learn the nuance :) -- Quiddity (talk) 19:48, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Sorry I overlooked such a simple answer (I should have googletranslated it..). Good luck with the rewrite :) -- Quiddity (talk) 20:25, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is regarding File:Ruslan Sirota.jpg – the appropriate e-mail has been sent on Nov. 9, if you could please look into this issue as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance. Hearfourmewesique (talk) 15:41, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Benoît Brisefer.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Benoît Brisefer.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Non Free Images in you User Space

Hey there Guillom, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free images are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some images that I found on User:Guillom/test. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use images to your user-space drafts or your talk page. See a log of images removed today here, shutoff the bot here and report errors here. Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 01:04, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images in Nobel Prize

Hello,

I'm thinking about nominating the Nobel Prize article for the second time to FA. Last time images were a main problem but most of it has been fixed now. However, me and licensing etc don't go well together. I saw you were an OTRS administrator so I figured you might perhaps be good with licensing and images? If you can help me the problems are located on Talk:Nobel Prize. It is mainly the image File:NobelPrize.JPG that has a problem. It needs a second license (see talk page) which I don't know how to fix.

Are you able to help me? --Esuzu (talkcontribs) 15:56, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On the basis of this edit I believe you should resign your position with the Wikimedia Foundation. Jc3s5h (talk) 19:24, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit protected

How did you manage to edit this page while it was protected? Stifle (talk) 11:00, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Stifle. As a steward, I am able to edit protected pages on all Wikimedia wikis (although, in this particular case, I was not acting as a steward, but more in my staff capacity). guillom 16:13, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Was it really necessary to blank my post? [2] DuncanHill (talk) 16:17, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
