Slammiversary VIII is a planned professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which will take place on June 13, 2010 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida.[2] Despite the Roman numeral eight used in promotional material, it will be the sixth event under the Slammiversary chronology and the sixth event of the 2010 TNA PPV scheduled. The name refers to the event being a celebration of the eight-year anniversary of the first event held by the promotion on June 19 2002.

Despite being featured in all past Slammiversary events, a King of the Mountain match has yet to be scheduled for this event.

Storylines

Slammiversary VIII will feature an undetermined number of professional wrestling matches that will involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers will be portrayed as villains, heroes or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that build tension and culminate into a wrestling match or series of matches.
