Verdi Corrente Productions is an independently owned and operated film production company headquartered in New York City. It was founded in 2009 by businessman Chad A. Verdi, and producer and director Michael Corrente. VCP has announced a slate of five films to be made over the next two years. [1]

  • Chad Verdi is an accomplished local businessman who has been involved in over 750 million dollars in business mergers, reverse mergers, start-ups and acquisitions and currently owns, co-owns or has investments in more than two dozen businesses in diversified industries with more than 500 local employees and sales of more than $100 million nationwide. He also holds a large real estate portfolio that includes the 175-year-old former United Methodist Church in East Greenwich where the constitution of RI was adopted.

Staff

  • Glenn Ciano, a principal in the company, has worked on over 8 feature films over his motion picture carer, personally writing and directing Homie Spumoni and Inkubus.
  • Noah Kraft, Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O.) of VCP, is a Brown University graduate. Prior to working for VCP he has held positions in the International Department at 20th Century Fox Studios and EMI Music Publishing in London.
  • Tom DeNucci got his start in the film business while working as creative assistant to Director Michael Corrente. During that tenure, he landed a role on the Showtime series The Brotherhood. He recently has held roles in Inkubus and is set to perform in the Peter Facinelli film Loosies, which will soon begin shooting.
  • Robert Rotondo is a Syracuse University graduate, published writer and marketing professional. He assisted with a variety of productions including American Buffalo, and is the writer of the upcoming thriller "Infected," scheduled to start shooting in 2011.

Location

Verdi Corrente Productions was founded in Cranston, Rhode Island, but recently moved to 230 Park Avenue, Suite 1000 in New York City.
