Translations

Start with the French translations on the bottom of Togari (manga). Stick the original reviews on the talk page and add translations (if possible to every paragraph or so). Look at Talk:Crossroad (manga) for an example. Thanks in advance. Extremepro (talk) 09:43, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for taking your time to do the translations. 211.30.12.191 (talk) 21:09, 18 January 2010 (UTC) as User:Extremepro[reply]
No problem. :) Kaguya-chan (talk) 21:11, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gravitation chapters list

Hi,

Just to tell that for the Japanese release you will be obliged to use Amazon.jp as reference for most books because the Japanese publisher Gentosha have just reprint of vol 1 - 11 and first print of vol 12.

--KrebMarkt 08:31, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! :) Kaguya-chan (talk) 14:55, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Along the way

I noticed that Kodansha has two catalogs one on the official site and the other on their official store. Out-off print stuff can only be found on the store page. It took me time to figure it out, stupid me ;) A sample comparison Official site Store catalog. --KrebMarkt 13:41, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome. :) Thank you once again. Kaguya-chan (talk) 17:29, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have renominated this article for GA. Thank you, CTJF83 chat 06:04, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Much improved since last time. :) However, it needs a bit of copy editing. Kaguya-chan (talk) 18:08, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lead:

  • The lead is supposed to sum up the entire article.

Plot:

  • "The horse ends up dying of a fatal heart attack and Peter disposes of the body by flinging it into a pharmacy owned by Mort Goldman, the Griffins are indebted for the damages." (Heart attacks causing death are usually fatal.) Are the Griffins indebted to Mort because Peter threw the horse into his pharmacy?
For the lead I added a note on cultural references (not sure if there was more you wanted me to add) and clarified the damages were to the race track. Do you wanna copy this to the official GA page? CTJF83 chat 18:33, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, since these are just my suggestions and not an actual GA review. Kaguya-chan (talk) 22:45, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, are you not wanting to do the actual review? CTJF83 chat 22:49, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No. Since I reviewed the article the first time, I don't think I can review it a second time. Sorry. Kaguya-chan (talk) 23:05, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, that's fine CTJF83 chat 23:19, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Bizenghast

The article Bizenghast you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Bizenghast for things which need to be addressed. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 20:49, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Only one point needs to be addressed now. Can you do this? –– Jezhotwells (talk) 01:52, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. I think I fixed the sentence. Kaguya-chan (talk) 18:49, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As promised

For taking part of the First Animanga unsourced BLP clean-up drive. The clean-up continues now from Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and manga/Unreferenced BLPs. Thanks for your contributions. --KrebMarkt 07:41, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't necessarily referring to there being too many issues to mention, but rather that the issues were severe and systemic. Aside from the issues I mentioned, the biggest problem is clunky prose and groupings of one or two sentences that aren't really paragraphs—these should probably be merged where applicable, otherwise expanded or cut. Reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:32, 15 June 2010 (UTC) [reply]

[1] Fourth time's the charm, eh? --erachima talk 22:20, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yep. ^.^ Kaguya-chan (talk) 22:21, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, good luck, and I hope you don't die of old age while waiting for the review. WP:GAN is backlogged by a month, or approximately 6000 years of internet time. --erachima talk 22:24, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yikes. Darn GAN is *always* backlogged. Well, enough complaining from me; it's time for me to do some reviewing. Kaguya-chan (talk) 22:35, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I've been trying to help as well, but giving quality reviews, being a voice of reason in the WP:DRAMA, having a semblance of a real life, and actually writing articles is pretty hard to balance.
If I could make a suggestion, in addition to reviewing older pages, an excellent way to reduce the average wait time is to check new submissions to see if they're quickfailure-worthy. No reason to make an editor wait five weeks to find out that he shouldn't have submitted the page in the first place, after all. --erachima talk 22:52, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Balancing all that does sound fairly tricky...especially with all the drama... Okay, I'll remember to check new articles for the quick-fail criteria. It slipped my mind last time I reviewed. ^.^ Kaguya-chan (talk) 23:50, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just a reminder about The Sly Old Cat. I've gone as far as I can with the article. No luck with additional commentaries. Pass or Fail? Thanks! Susanne2009NYC (talk) 09:40, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

GAN

Can you review Love Blactually. --Pedro J. the rookie 20:06, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nice to meet you.

A female gamer. That's cool. I liked Angela but walking into fire tends to kill people. I believe that Cybil and James survived despite their disappearance though. --72.186.98.186 (talk) 21:55, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you and very nice to meet you too! ^_^ It's always nice to find a Silent Hill fan. You're probably right about Angela's death (seeing as she's suicidal and fire is rather deadly), but she walks off-screen and because her death is not shown, that makes it very hard to confirm. Especially in the magical land of Silent Hill where reality is often subjective. And yes, I believe that Cybil survived, but not James. He was too destroyed by his suffering to continue to live. Kaguya-chan (talk) 22:23, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hm, well I guess I'm a sucker for happy endings. I'd like to believe that James went into hiding but then again, James finding Laura out of nowhere and convincing her to leave with him doesn't make much sense either. As for Cybil, The Order killed an anti-drug mayor and an officer named Gucci for interfering with their drug trafficking so it's not hard to believe they would try to go after her. --72.186.99.104 (talk) 22:29, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pyramid Head

No problemo! I could probably find some more sources if you need. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 20:04, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But hey, maybe when you're done with Pyramid Head, you could swing by and give GLaDOS a little peer review so I can put it up for GAN too. :> - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 20:08, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
