Apex Mountain Resort is a ski resort located on Apex Mountain just south-east of Penticton, BC, Canada (in the Okanagan).

The Hard Facts

Apex mountain has a summit elevation of 2187 m and receives an average of 600 cm of snow a year. There are 1112 acres of skiable terrain and 50 km of groomed cross-country terrain. There are 67 named trails accessed by a total of five ski lifts including one high-speed quad.

Unverifiable Touchy-Feely Information

In general, Apex is a smaller, quieter resort, that tries to accomodate itself to the more advanced skier. It is billed as the 'hidden' resort equivalent to the more popular Okanagan resorts such as Big White and Sun Peaks, which offers a more personal experience and is less crowded, while providing the same quality in terms of snow and weather.
