File:Sephiroth.gif Hello, Nicanor5, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at Naming Conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my talk page.
Additional tips:
Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log.
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language.
Happy editing!

Translating[edit]

Hi. I don't think there is any specific Wikipedia policy regarding the translation of names. For the article's title, I think you should have the band's untranslated, Spanish name. In the article, you can have the English translation in parentheses next to the Spanish name. You can do the same with the names of the songs. Hope that helps. Jarlaxle 04:10, August 22, 2005 (UTC)

If the band sells albums under a translation of their name in English, you should also create a redirect page under the translated name. +sj + 14:51, 22 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Trial[edit]

Hi, sure, I can help. If you go to my user page and click on "E-mail this user" on the left-hand side of the page you can e-mail me the text. I can wikify it and tell you where to put it, but for purposes of the GFDL you need to be the one to add it to the German page so that you're identified as the author. --Angr/tɔk mi 18:51, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Nadie[edit]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Nadie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Epeefleche (talk) 16:08, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Radiosónica[edit]

The article Radiosónica has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:BAND, deleted at AFD in Spanish wikipedia

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
