Confirmed (add request)

Would like to add pictures/screenshots within an article I'm writing (i.e. files shouldn't be uploaded to wikicommons) Gollymolly1010 (talk) 04:06, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mean that the images aren't free? If that's the case, we can only accept them under a claim of fair use and in compliance with our non-free content criteria. Do the image(s) you want to upload comply with those criteria? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 04:19, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes they comply, they are screenshots and will be properly documented.Gollymolly1010 (talk) 04:25, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have had my account for over 4 days and done 10 edits but still cannot edit the Hydro Tasmania logo. I work for Hydro Tasmania and the logo has changed and I would like to put up the new logo. Steveji1968 (talk) 04:29, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You should be autoconfirmed. Try Wikipedia:Upload and see if that says that you have to be autoconfirmed. Frozen Windwant to be chilly? 12:42, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Is the image you wish to upload available under an appropriate Creative Commons license? If so, I would advise you to upload it to the Wikimedia Commons at commons:Commons:Upload. If not, then we will most likely be unable to accept the image as Wikipedia's aim is to provide free content wherever possible.
