Skyline is an upcoming 2010 science fiction thriller film directed and produced by the Brothers Strause.[1] The film is set for release on November 12, 2010. It stars Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, Donald Faison and David Zayas.[2]

Plot

After a night of partying, a group of friends are distracted when beams of light awaken everyone in Los Angeles, that then attract every person like a moth to a flame. As the night progresses, they soon discover that once exposed to the light they vanish into thin air, as well as extraterrestrial forces that later threaten to swallow the entire human race.[3]

The project began filming in Marina Del Rey in February 2010 through March 31.[4]

Release

The film is set for a November 12, 2010 release[5][6] and is distributed by Universal Pictures.[7] Following the theatrical release, the movie will run on Netflix.[8] A trailer was released August 13 and attached to Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Devil (film). The second trailer released on September 29 and then attached to My Soul to Take. Another trailer was also attached to Paranormal Activity 2. The trailer has also been attached with RED in the UK.
