Molecular Medicine is a peer-reviewed, open access academic journal published by The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. It was founded in 1994,[1] and is currently published in paper format six times annually. An open access journal, manuscripts are posted online when they are accepted for publication.
Molecular Medicine is a multi-disciplinary journal focused on publishing papers addressing the molecular pathogenesis of disease, and translating this knowledge into specific molecular tools for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.[2]
As of 2010, the Editors-in-Chief are Kevin J. Tracey and Anthony Cerami. Molecular Medicine is indexed by PubMed and the Web of Science. The Web of Science impact factor in 2010 for Molecular Medicine is 5.020.
The journal offers a biweekly podcast "Mollie Medcast", launched in 2007, which includes brief summaries of recent articles.
