The Wizard was a short lived American television series that aired on CBS from 1986 to 1987. The series starred David Rappaport, Douglas Barr, and Fran Ryan.

A four-foot tall man named Simon McKay (Rappaport) is a brilliant inventor, having made toys for children, devices for the handicapped, and inventions for the government. Simon is a very small man with a very big heart. Simon has a housekeeper named Tillie Russell (Ryan) who, though she may look mean, is actually a very nice lady. Simon is protected by a government agent named Alex Jaggere (Barr), who is there to protect Simon from others who might try to take Simon and force him to use his genius for evil purposes. Simon and Alex have worked together to fight crime and help those in need, and Tillie has helped them some too.
