Songs from Instant Star is the soundtrack for the first season of the television series Instant Star. The entire album is sung by Alexz Johnson, who portrays the show's protagonist Jude Harrison.
The album is entirely original, with the exception of two covers. "Stupid Girl" was originally a single for the band Garbage in 1996 and the song "Temporary Insanity" was originally performed by the pop/rock group "The Weekend".
