Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji[3] is a 2011 Hindi romantic comedy film, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya, Shazahn Padamsee, Shruti Haasan and Shraddha Das in the lead roles. The film is produced by Madhur Bhandarkar and Kumar Mangat under the banner of Bhandarkar Entertainment and Wide Frame Films. The film was released on January 28, 2011.[4][5]

Plot

The film revolves around the story of three guys, Naren Ahuja (Ajay Devgn), who works in Bank as a manager and is currently seeking divorce from his wife, Madhvi. Abhay aka Abby (Emraan Hashmi) who is a complete playboy and works as a gym trainer and Milind Kelkar (Omi Vaidya) who works in a matrimonial company and is in search for a true love. Naren leaves his house and starts living in his parents' house. Abhay and Milind are thrown out of their rented apartments and they both land up as paying guests for Naren. Hence, the three of them start living together. Naren has a crush on June Pinto (Shazahn Padamsee) who works as an intern in his bank, Milind starts loving a radio jockey, Gungun Sarkar (Shraddha Das) and Abhay falls for Anushka Narang (Tisca Chopra), an ex-miss India who married a multi-millionaire and has interests in young men. Naren and June have a fun time together and they both start loving each others company. Milind tries to impress Gungun which annoys her a lot but she instead uses Milind for her reasons. Abhay starts getting full attention from Anushka and they both start having an affair. The three love stories blossom for a while until, Nikki Narang (Shruti Haasan), step-daughter of Anushka, enters the film. Abhay falls for Nikki and starts ignoring Anushka. He breaks up with Anushka and starts going out with Nikki. June's granny invites Naren for a dinner. And Gungun eventually falls in love with Milind. When Abhay gets serious with Nikki, she breaks up with him saying that she is not looking for a commitment. Naren comes to know that he has been invited to have dinner so that he can decide whether June should marry Chris, June's boyfriend from college. And Milind gets a letter from Gungun saying that she has got a role in a film and has to leave Milind for her career. So the three end up failing in love. In the end, the trio decide to go to Goa for a change. They take a vow not to fall for girls in Goa. But ultimately, at the airport, the three of them meet the girls of their choice and taste.

The film received an A/Adults only rating by the Central Board of Film Certification when Bhandarkar refused to cut several scenes he felt were integral to the film.[6]

Box Office

As part of its opening weekend, on Monday the movie earned 2 Crore[7] with total collection's of 26.50 Crore till now.[8]

The music of the film is composed by Pritam Chakraborty. Lyrics are penned by Neelesh Misra, Kumaar, Sanjay Chhel and Sayeed Qadri.
