Qaid-e-Tanhai (Urdu: قید تنہائی ) is a Pakistani drama serial currently airing on Hum TV. It is written by Umera Ahmed and Directed by Babar Javed.
Plot and Concept
A tale of solitary souls, Qaed-e-Tanhai is the story of Aisha and Moiz, a young couple beset by financial problems owing to which Moiz opts to go to England. He stays there for several years leaving Aisha to face trials and tribulations with her in-laws and to raise her daughter. She is further burdened by the knowledge that Moiz has a girlfriend there, Aneela. In retaliation she deliberately starts taking an interest in Jawad, her sister in law's fiancé who also happens to be Moiz's friend. Four years of loneliness compel Aisha to ask Moiz for a divorce so that she can marry Jawad but before she can carry-out this plan her mother-in-law hears her telephonic conversation with Jawwad and informs Moiz. Moiz returns to a heart-breaking reality. What is in store for the couple, and will the Jawad and Aneela make a difference in their lives?
