The hallowed turf at the Brabourne has witnessed 35 Test centuries over more than half a century.

Brabourne Stadium is a cricket ground in Mumbai, India. It is the home of the Cricket Club of India and has played host to Ranji Trophy, Indian Premier League matches, as well as being a Test, One Day International and Twenty20 International venue. It has a capacity of 20,000. The ground has held Test matches since 1948, hosted its first One Day International in 1989 and one T20 International in 2007.[1]

The first Test century scored at the ground was in 1948 by the West Indian Allan Rae.[2] In total, 35 Test centuries have been scored at the ground. Virender Sehwag's 293, scored against Sri Lanka in 2009, is the highest Test innings achieved at the ground. The record highest Test score by an overseas player is 194 which was made in 1948 by the West Indian Everton Weekes.[3] Vijay Hazare has scored the most Test centuries at the ground with 4.[4]

No centuries have been scored in the eight One Day International matches and only T20 International played here.[5][6] Adam Gilchrist holds the record for the highest One Day International innings score at the ground, 92 against West Indies in 2006.[7] Ricky Ponting holds the record for the highest T20 International innings score at the ground, 76 against India in 2007.[8]
