Baruch College Campus High School (BCCHS) is a New York City public high school which was originally located on 17 Lexington Avenue's upper floors, because of the construction for both the High School and the college, the school had moved to a temporary location located on Park Avenue and 25th Street in the New York City borough of Manhattan. Established in 1997, BCCHS is located near Madison Square Park and Baruch College of The City University of New York. The school is renowned for its high academic standards, unique advisory program and high graduation and college acceptance rates.
Enrollment
The school has a total enrollment of over 400 students. Each year, approximately 7,500 students apply to BCCHS. Admission is based on a screening process whereby the school evaluates and ranks all applicants based on their previous school year's final academic record, standardized test scores, attendance and punctuality.The school is made up of 61% Asian, 22% White, 11% Hispanic, and 6% blacks.
Admission
Student must get 85 or above average and on every major subject, as well as a 2-4 on both New York State ELA and Math to consider a applicant. But because of the amount of administration the school gets every year (around 5,100 for 150 freshman seats) The school usually picks the students with the high 90 average, as well as a 3 or 4 on both ELA and Math. Priority is given to District 2 students, then to Manhattan residents, then to New York City. Admission is open for 9th great seats only, students can only enter the school in their freshman year.
Facilities
Students can use a few of the facilities of Baruch College, such as the Newman Library, providing a more enriching education and preparing them to become college bound leaders.
Academics
The required courses are honors-level courses. Students take electives in their junior and senior year. In the past, electives include Psychology, Writing and Film, Statistics, Intro to Computer Science, Intro to Engineering and Internship. They may also apply for enrollment in Advanced Placement courses. Juniors can apply for AP American History, AP English Literature and AP Studio Art. Seniors can also apply for AP English Literature and, in addition, AP Biology, AP Calculus AB and AP Comparative Government and Politics. Students are also offered the opportunity to take selected Baruch college courses free of charge beginning the summer of their Senior year. Before a senior graduates, they are expected to complete a thesis on a topic approved by their advisor.
In addition to fulfilling their academic requirements, students are expected to read at least 25 books and complete 20 hours of community service each school year.

The 411 Press is the official school newspaper of BCCHS. It is a monthly newspaper featuring four sections: Baruch News, Editorial, Sports, and Entertainment. The staff hold meetings on a weekly basis throughout the school year.

Traditions
Cultural Show
First organized by the Asian American Club in 2006, the annual show features student performances that celebrate the cultural diversity within the school.
Field Day
After being absence for a few years, Field Day was reintroduced back in 2002 by a former advisory group. The event occurs at the end of each school year, a majority of the student body and faculty members attend a social outing in Central Park in New York, NY. For an entire school day, students participate in peer-led activities and represent their advisories in competitive games.
Film Festival
Films created by students and faculty are shown at the annual festival, which is organized by the Film Club, the oldest club in existence at the school.
Greenkill
Every year, the freshman class embarks upon an overnight trip to Greenkill, New York. The trip is intended to promote social unity among freshmen.
Senior Trip
Every year, the graduating class goes on a Senior class trip to Florida. The only exception was in 2009 when the graduating class decided to go skiing in upstate New York.
