The Sweetest Days is Vanessa L. Williams's third album released in 1994 is a more varied, diverse album than her previous albums. Includes the hit singles, "You Can't Run", "Betcha Never", "The Way That You Love" and the title track. The album peaked at #57 on the U.S. Pop chart and at #25 on the R&B chart, and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.[1]

The Sweetest Days Video is shot two different ways and there seems to be no explanation why there are 2-versions of this song. The "romantic version" was shot in an apartment overlooking a city skyline while the "Urban version" shows her walking in a park and through streets. The "urban version" seems to be the one MTV showed in 1994. There are a few clips that they both share in the same spots but for the 3-minute and 31-second video, they do give the song a different feel.
