The Wright State Raiders team is the basketball team that represents Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, USA. The school's team currently competes in the Horizon League. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2007. The Raiders are currently coached by Billy Donlon. The Raiders play at the Ervin J. Nutter Center in Fairborn, Ohio in what is often nicknamed the 'NUTT HOUSE'. Many Wright State fans tend to consider the Butler Bulldogs a rival, however, it has been said that Butler fans view Wright State as 'just another team' and that there is in fact no rivalry between the two teams.

Raiders in the National Basketball Association

==The Gem City Jam

UD (The University of Dayton) and Wright State used to play each other, and the game was referred to as "The Gem City Jam", but they no longer play each other these days because the UD Flyers are focused on upping their national repuation and feel that playing the Raiders is not consistant with their goals.
