Some mention could probably be added about the construction of the (highly visible) transmitter tower and the path up to it which remains open as a popular hiking trail.


It would also be nice if someone could add in some descriptions of the mountain itself (height, hiking trails, etc.) in addition to the rather lengthy historical details.

I did add the section on "Local Broadcasting Controversy" involving the WLOS-TV tower. I have sat in on the meetings involving this controversy, and I am still following it. Csneed (talk) 02:43, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
