Rana Sanaullah Khan, son of Mr Sher Muhammad Khan, was born on January 1, 1955 at Faisalabad. He Belongs to a Muslim Rajput Family. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1981 from Punjab University LawCollege, Lahore. A practising lawyer, who served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1990-93 and 1997-99. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the third term in General Elections 2002. .
Career
Rana Sanaullah started his career as an activist of Sipah Sahaba and now in his courrent capacity of Law Minister, he is a chief patron of Sipah Sahaba. Rana Sanaullah Khan is an Advocate, Supreme Court of Pakistanand Law Minister of Punjab. He was first elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in 1990 on Ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party and served as Deputy Opposition Leader during 1990-93. He later changed his party and also remained Member of Punjab Assembly during 1997-99. He reached Punjab Assembly for the third term in 2002 and functioned as Deputy Opposition Leader and as Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) during 2002-07. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the fourth term and is functioning as Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

Rana Sanaullah is a chief patron of militant organizations in Punjab Sipah Sahab who have links to the Pakistan Taliban and Al Qaeda
