Casper Van Dien
Casper Van Dien (born Milton, Florida, 18 December 1968) is an American actor.
The son of a U.S. Navy commander, he is a descendant of an old Dutch family long settled in the New York area; his other heritage includes Swedish, French, English, and Native American. His first name is a family tradition, given to the eldest son of the family for more than 11 generations. He grew up in Ridgefield, New Jersey, on Van Dien Avenue, named for his family.
With his big break on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live, he has appeared in movies such as Tarzan and the Lost City, Starship Troopers and Sleepy Hollow. He also appeared in the NBC TV series Titans with Yasmine Bleeth in 2000.
He has been described as a "perfect life-sized Ken doll."
He married actress Catherine Oxenberg in May 1999, and is the father of three daughters, one son, and one stepdaughter. His mother-in-law is Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia.
