I am wondering if anyone can help me. I need to know if there is a hospital in Nigeria called Holy Group Hospital. I think it is supposed to be located in Lagos. I think I am trying to be scammed is the reason I need to know. I can not find it anywhere that I have searched so I thought someone here could tell me. Thanks !! Jojo6866 20:24, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

I am being scamed too. The person whom is trying this, says he is in the crystal hospital. He says hes an American stuck and needs 4850,00. Of course I'm not stupid and I would never send anything like that. How would I find a phone number or web site to write to the hospital and see if he is there? Thanks!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.42.176.82 (talk) 01:06, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- I also had a young woman that I hooked up with tell me she was going to Nigeria to help her mom,who had just landed a $100K contract for cosmetics. ( by the way, supposedly they were from Texas,U.S. citizens )anyway I waited 4 days and then all of a sudden she sends me an email telling me that the night they arrived in Nigeria, they were both shot while in a restaurant. Her mother died later...lol...and now all she can ask me for is the money to pay her med.bills so she can come and live with me !Supposedly she has had her papers taken away by the hosp. staff until she pays and now instead of I Love You,all she can ask for is the $ ! The worst part is,I almost fell for it until she told me about the trip from Texas to Nigeria. She got her time zones backwards,( they r 6hrs.ahead)she thought I would wire $ to an individual's name instead of a hospital's name and she gave me the hospital name,GraceLand Medical and also added to pay the bill all I had to do was send an email to GraceLand Medical@yahoo.com....LOL...Just to play it safe I got my lawyer to check it out. It's nothing but B.S. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Be careful folks, some of these women are damn good !! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.36.181.78 (talk) 15:55, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi i am an american i have met this man online who told me he was from New York but he was in Nigeria working and now he is in the hospital very bad off they say but i am still getting emails they say from his dr. and phone calls from his dr. but i am wondering why would a dr have your cell phone if you are in a coma ? and how did he get my information ? I believe it might be a scam because they want me to send money right away for his care and medication. and i have never heard of a hospital charging for medication before they give it to you. he is in the Crystal hospital and i have done some research and they say that it might just be a scam . so beware . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.156.216.207 (talk) 17:01, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

I have been talking to a man who said he is from Minnesota. He went to Nigeria on business and took his 17 year old son. Seems that the man was robbed at the airport and his father is in a hospital that I cant find. I have no money to send them even though they keep trying. this is the third time someone has tried to scam me. I will not let that happen. i told them I would call the embassy and they would help them. These people are suppose to be christians, lol well Ive got news for them they pick the wrong woman to scam. i work for a sheriff department I will find them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.89.44.17 (talk) 09:34, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
Is there a hospital called: "precious hospital" in Nigeria?
This is curious, I had met someone online who basically experienced a similar story to many (especially the one said by 24.36.181.78) this month. Someone who moved from Georgia to Montana before moving to Nigeria (though I don't which city it is) with her mother for business, where they got robbed of all of their money on their way to a hotel called Vaamaca and the mother got shot and died a few days later during surgery at the above-mentioned hospital. Now the girl is stuck with a medical bill she must pay in order to return to the States (euh I'm from Canada BTW). I don't seem to find any mention of this hospital on Google, and it looks to be non-existing neither does the hotel. I would have loved to help although I'm afraid it might be impossible for me to help since the institutions are not found-able. Can anyone look into this, if there is a hospital called Precious Hospital somewhere in Nigeria. I hope this will be answered soon, so I could assume it isn't a made-up story or a scam which I'm afraid. Thanks so much for answering!66.130.155.90 (talk) 23:00, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- I think by the looks of the stories above, I was a good thing I haven't sent anything, though I think it would have been a logistic nightmare to send anything over to that hospital in Nigeria, and I don't have any landline either. Anyways I'm ignoring all those messages from that person from now on, unless she proves that story is really true. Thank goodness I'm alert. Nice try!
Anyways I had someone else in sight. But to others like many said before be aware at online dating sites. 66.130.155.90 (talk) 23:17, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
