Sailosi Tagicakibau (born 14 November 1982, Auckland, New Zealand) is a rugby union footballer who plays at Wing (number 11) for London Irish.
Early years
Sailosi was introduced to Rugby at the age of 5 by his father Isikeli Tagicakibau. Prior to competing in professional rugby, he attended Papakura High and Wesley College. He also played in Auckland Tailevu 7's team coached by his father.
National team
He made his debut for the Samoan 7's National team in 2003 making several appearances and becoming a team staple. Later that year he was selected as part of the Manu Samoa World Cup squad where he scored tries against Georgia and Uruguay.
He played for the Counties-Manukau club previous to the 2003 Rugby World Cup in the NPC Second division
Club career
He made his club debut in the 2004 season of the National Provincial Championship (NPC) in New Zealand, playing for Taranaki. The following year 2005 he played for the Chiefs in the international Super 12 competition. Currently at London Irish he is part of a back three which includes Topsy Ojo and Delon Armitage.
