+ will be the first studio album released by Ed Sheeran as part of his record deal with Atlantic Records. The album will be released on 12 September 2011. The album cover is a pastel drawing created by London based artist Phillip Butah. The album has high commercial expectations and is expected to debut at number 1 upon its release.

Singles

• The first single released from the album was "The A Team" on 10 June 2011. It entered the UK Singles Chart at number 3, and has so far spent 11 consecutive weeks in the top 10.

• The second single "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" was announced during Sheeran's set at Glastonbury Festival 2011 and received its first radio play on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show on 6 July 2011.
