Nomenclature

Argentinian and Argentine are both usual nomenclatures, but they shouldn't be mixed up in the same document. 80.225.7.2 10:36, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Argentine Ranks are wrong. No Army ranks were used for the Marines. Correct translations would be: OF-1 Guardiamarina= Midshipman Teniente de Corbeta= Sublieutenant or Ensign Teniente de Fragata= Lieutenant J.G. OF-2 Teniente de Navio= Lieutenant Hence, the equivalent to an Army Captain is a teniente de Navio, and not a SLt. In the Scots Guards, Right Flank and Left Flank are the names of the first two Companies of each battalion. I have therefore removed the incorrect "Company" appended each time to these terms.

I may be wrong but I think the Scots Guards battalion at the battle of Mount Tumbledown was the 1st Battalion Scots Guards - NOT 2nd Battalion Scots Guards. This should be checked.

Sourcing

Much of this article is unsourced and in the second half especially seems to have problems with POV. I was going to add {{Fact}} tags, but realised I'd cover the place with them, so please can somebody check this article at some point.--Jackyd101 14:54, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How a battalion + Engineers Company + artillery battery became a Brigade ? Plus there are plenty of sources that the Tigercats were attached to Port Stanley airport not Tumbledown --Jor70 (talk) 14:42, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source for this allegation "one of the dead being an RI 6 soldier who had been allegedly bayoneted to death by a Guardsman while he attended to a wounded comrade."
