Meetup

Wikipedia:Meetup/Tampa -- You're invited! Hires an editor (talk) 13:02, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Crownest has expressed interest in reviving this. Since you were a member of the FD project (now converted into a taskforce), I'm wondering if you'd be a part of the Taskforce. The taskforce is undergoing a significant overhaul at the moment, and by the end of it, it should be fairly easy to get around and there should be a nifty compendium of useful tools for people interested in FD. Gas Article

JamAKiska (talk) 20:15, 15 October 2009 (UTC) Started editing gas article last week and just came across your note about not inserting a link. If your time permits, please take a look at the article and provide some feedback...my goal is to make it user friendly. Thanks...[reply]

Its looking great! I'm happy that someone is finally adding positive things to my article from a year and a half ago (it was something I had done over a spring break). I don't know about now -- but back then, the ideal gas article was a complete disaster in terms of factual accuracy. I can tell that you actually understand the concept of gas and the ideas behind the models. Most people do not and will argue to the end of the earth trying to convince you that there is no such thing as a perfect or real gas and that everything is an ideal gas because that's what their high school textbook says. -- Anyway, sorry I've been kind of disconnected from wiki for a while. I read the article and so far its looking quite good. Send me an email at dvidaud@umich.edu whenever you want me to take a look at it again. See if you can clarify the models a bit? at least the descriptions? Katanada (talk) 08:56, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'll rewrite the model section over the next week (I'll need to refresh on that material first) as time permits and email you once complete. Where you could help "the reader" would be to update the John Anderson references from the 1984 version to the 2004 material (currently references 5 and 10 though they may change over the next week). We can use your current version as the primary reference and keep a note in your reference indicating the pages in the 1984 version. JamAKiska (talk) 14:13, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please take a look at my talk page as I am proposing a new introductory paragraph to the article as written in hopes of removing the tag at top of page.CUoD (talk) 18:51, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Try this one...CUoD (talk) 18:32, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Try this one! :) CUoD (talk) 12:57, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Blake School (Lake City, Florida) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

lacks notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 15stamps (talk) 03:45, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Perfect gas

I have reinstated the perfect gas article, and added some more text. I also simplified the ideal/perfect gas discussion in gas. I thought you might want to know. Han-Kwang (t) 12:28, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wonderful! Thank you much Hankwang Katanada (talk) 04:07, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
