You're so cool! acf 06:44, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi! First off, I just wanted to say that I think the ambassador program and WP education program are really cool. I'm really excited to see how both end up changing Wikipedia and high education.

I've been an editor for about three years now and I spend most of my time patrolling new pages and reviewing them for flagrant issues that normally result in an article's speedy deletion. I recently ran across Organizational analysis and immediately saw some characteristics that are prevalent in articles that contain text that has been copy/pasted from another source. I started digging deeper and believe that the text has been copied, pasted, and slightly changed. I've found that the article is similar enough to warrant a further look but different enough that it probably doesn't qualify for speedy deletion meaning that I'll be asking editors who focus on copyright violation to review the article. My short investigation can be found on the talk page of the article.

As far as WP is concerned, this is business as usual. As for Wikipedia:United_States_Education_Program/Courses/MPP_Integrative_Core_I_(Mark_Henderson), that's not really my area but I thought you might be concerned. If you have any questions for me, I'd be happy to answer them or help out however I can. OlYellerTalktome 18:39, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there!
Happy to hear from you. (I'm also happy to hear that people are checking out new pages, and getting rid of bad ones, but that's for another time.)
I was guessing that that was perhaps what had happened with the Organizational analysis page, but I'm very happy that you let me know. The students responsible for the page where quite confused with things disappearing and such, but Mark (the professor for the course) suggested that that might have been the problem. Nonetheless, I will let the students who worked on that page know.
Anyhow, thanks for letting me know, thanks for doing the work you do, and thanks for being nice and polite!
