Live in Europe 1967: The Bootleg Series Vol. 1 is a live album consisting of recordings of three separate concerts in Europe played by Miles Davis and his "second great quintet"—which included saxophonist Wayne Shorter, pianist Herbie Hancock, bassist Ron Carter, and drummer Tony Williams.[1] Each disc contains the recordings of the three separate concerts in Antwerp, Copenhagen, and Paris.
The songs recorded on the first disc are those played by the quintet at Konigin Elizabethzaal in Antwerp, Belgium on 28 October 1967. The second disc chronicles the set played on 2 November 1967 at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the third disc's songs were recorded on 6 November 1967 at Salle Pleyel in Paris, France.
