A fact from Timurid invasions of Georgia appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 2 January 2008, and was viewed approximately 445 times (disclaimer) (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I found this (Timur's invasions of Georgia) page by clicking on a link in the "Georgia (country)" page that reads "invasions by Tamerlane". However, nowhere on this page is there a reference to Tamerlane. I think this should be clarified either on this page or on the Georgia page (or, maybe better, both!).Lisapaloma (talk) 01:26, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
