Jeannie Ortega

Jeannie Ortega is an R&B/reggaeton singer born in Brooklyn, New York. As a member of the first graduating class of Brooklyn’s High School of The Arts, Ortega is a natural at performing, a singer, songwriter, and dancer.

Before she signed a label deal she appeared on two soundtracks, Love Don’t Cost a Thing and That's So Raven, right after Jeannie inked a major recording deal with Hollywood Records, she started work on her debut album No Place Like Brooklyn, with production by Soul Shock & Karlin known for their work with Whitney Houston, JoJo and Wild Orchid. She along with artist like N.O.R.E. and Eric West became major players for the latin community, releasing major albums in 2006.

Her debut single "Crowded" feat. Papoose was shipped to radio in the Spring. She also started work on a film called Music High staring Mario and Channing Tatum.
