I am attempting to update the out of date biographies of filmmakers I have worked for.

You have made a couple of helpful edits. Surely we have not protected all of the articles (not necessarily biographies) that you are looking to edit? Beware of WP:COI as you edit, and make sure that you use reliable sources and not original research - especially on articles about living people. I made a mistake on my first edit and I can't fix it because the article (The Rev) is now semi-protected Voltastro (talk) 18:27, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am David Sparrow (www.davesparrow.com) and I'm trying to upload my picture to my wikipedia page. It seems very complicated. There are many pictures of me online, including IMDB and on my own site.File:Dave_Sparrow.jpg Actdaveor (talk) 00:17, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done The type of image you wish to upload must allow free usage according to our policies. Please upload your image to our free-usage repository, Commons, so that it can be used across all WikiProjects and languages. I am requesting the permissions to upload photos and edit the wikipedia page for Larry Tee, this is his P.A. Michael-Patrick Perez please email me if you need direct permission from Larry himself. Fantasticplanet (talk) 16:35, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done The article is not protected and you edited it prior to making this request. As for the picture, as a living person we can only accept a free picture of Tee. Free pictures should be uploaded at the Commons. You do not need any rights to upload pictures there. Also you should read our guideline on conflicts of interest. I wish to add to the knowledge base on this website and correct that which is incorrect Wakisazhi (talk) 01:53, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You can already edit almost every article on Wikipedia. If there are specific articles that you would like to change that are protected you should discuss the changes on the article's talk page first. GB fan 10:43, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I used to be known as Mnidaydwisww, who had autoconfirmed status. I will login as that account and re-sign after my signature. —Η-θ 13:59, 1 November 2011 (UTC) –Mnid (Let's talk about it!) 14:01, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. You are already autoconfirmed on your new account. (By the way, it may have been better/easier to rename your account instead of starting a new one.) — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:47, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No kidding, admin hopefuls usually are also wise enough to stick to the usual character (A-z, 0-9) set for usernames ... however...(talk→ BWilkins ←track) 17:10, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well we have User:Δ. Who was de-adminned (although I swear he did it for the lulz). Magog the Ogre (talk) 07:33, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I want to change the picture of Matt Pyzdrowski (american soccer player) to his actual picture Colincorv (talk) 23:02, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Matt Pyzdrowski is living and our policies limit pictures of living people to free images. Free images should be uploaded to the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload pictures there and once they are uploaded there they will be available here. GB fan 01:54, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Question: What is the copyright status of the picture you want to upload and for what article ? You can already edit over 90% of the project as your account stands. Mlpearc powwow 02:21, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
