Pizza. Beloved by many as a delicious treat. One of the great things about pizza is it's versatility. Pizza for dinner? Great! You've got leftovers? Even better. Microwave a slice in the morning and you've got a delicious breakfast. Throw a slice in a zip-lock bag and put that in your briefcase and you've got a ready-to-go lunch. Amazing! Pizza is versatile and delicious. Who could ask for more? The history of pizza is filled with mystery and intrigue. The topics are full of variety. Pizza, it's the food of wonder!

A delicious looking pizza.
Yummy Yummy!

You want to know what else is great about pizza? You can get it at a lot of places! There are restaurants that are entirely dedicated to pizza, like Pizza Hut. It even has pizza in the title of the restaurant. Whoever came up with that title was genius! You can also get pizza at places that don't have pizza in the title. For example, sometimes, Subway offers pizzas. They aren't the most delicious pizzas, but it's still pizza!

Pizza. So good it deserves to be bolded. Or italicized. Pizza. For reals though, pizza is so good that it deserves to be italicized and bolded. Pizza! It is hard to imagine a world without pizza. It has changed the way we view the world and rocked the foundation of society. Do you remember the Pizza Revolt of the 1600s? I don't. But I've heard it was amazing and without it, our world would be very different from the one we have today. Go out. Purchase pizza. Consume that pizza. Enjoy that pizza. When that pizza is done, pause for a moment and think about how good that pizza was. Talk toy our friends about how great it is. Purchase some more pizza. Consume that pizza. And be very, very merry.

History

Pizza has evolved since the Neolithic age. However, modern pizza originated from the Battle of ItalianicavonSchmorgessborg, where innocent farmers were killed, their blood spraying on their bread. The France, who had been at war with the Italians, ate this bread in victory. Since then, pizza had been considered commoner's food and was banned from the royal court due to its associations with war. King Ferdinand I, who was a sadist would sneak out disguised as a commoner and eat pizza, though by that time, the blood had been replaced with tomato sauce.

Pizza would later be legalized for royal consumption when Queen Margherita of Italy was served a pizza consisting of the blood of French soldiers, the whites of English eyes, and the green grass stains of destroy forests in Spain. Coincidentally, these colors also make up the Italian Flag. Margherita was impressed at this glorification of Italy and called for the creation of several factories to mechanically craft this pastry in large numbers. Yes, pizza spearheaded the Industrial Revolution. Get over it.

Pizzas were not introduced to America until the 20th century. Gennaro Lombardi claimed to have built the first American Pizzeria in 1905. When it was first introduced however, people were so unimpressed that he had to sell spaghetti as well just to stay in business. He had the last laugh though, and 70 years later, Americans learned that food makes them obese. By then though, they were already addicted to all of the crack in their pizzas, and the damage had been done.[1]

Topping

There are many different types of toppings that can be placed on pizzas. You can have anything from hot peppers to pears. Not only are do the topping made a delicious side treat, but they define the style or type of the pizza. If you put sausage, pepperoni and bacon then you have made the perfect pizza for a meat lover.

If you make your own pizza, then you have access to all the toppings in your fridge! But if you order pizza from a pizza delivery service, then you will have to cope with tough decision that lies ahead of which pizza toppings to choose. If you don't have an endless amount of money to spend on toppings, then be careful because typically pizza toppings run high!

Ovens

Ovens for you. Ovens for me. Ovens for us! Yeah yeah yeah!

That is a cheer that was invented about ovens specifically for this article. Impressed? You should be. Ovens are superb. I don't know how we survived without them. Can you imagine cavemen eating their pizzas without ovens? Insufferable! It is wonderful that we live in a world that has ovens so that we can make pizza.

Oven-baked Pizza

Did you know that there is a subcategory of pizza specifically about ovens? Yes! Those pizzas are called oven-baked or brick oven pizzas. It is important to note just how important ovens are to pizzas. For example, Lunchables [2] have an option where you can make pizzas raw. Like, without cooking them. And it's not bad, especially in a college dorm, but it would definitely benefit from baking it in a oven.

You can also buy ovens specifically made for baking pizzas! There are many sites that sells such appliance[3] and have your own pizza baking oven! You can have pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Doesn't that sound lovely?
